Cranberry Brie Tarts

To start off your holiday meal, try these cranberry brie tarts with a glass of our 2017 Brut Rosé! The tart cranberry is mellowed by the richness of the creamy brie and brings out the tangy red fruit flavors and rich finish of the rosé.

Cranberry Brie Tarts

Serves 8

Ingredients

  • 8 sheets of phyllo dough
  • 4 Tbsp of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 small wedge/wheel of your favorite brie
  • 1 cup of your favorite cranberry sauce

Instructions

Step 1 | Stack sheets of phyllo on top of each other, slice sheets into 6 strips.
Step 2 | Butter each strip and place 4 strips in the well of a mini muffin tin, spreading out to ensure bottom is covered.
Step 3 | Place a piece of brie in well of pan and add a scoop of cranberry sauce on top.
Step 4 | Bake at 350℉ for about 12 mins, or until dough is lightly browned and crisp and brie is melted.

Make this vegan by ensuring you use vegan phyllo dough and butter, replace the brie with your favorite vegan cream cheese, mixed with 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice. Top with cranberry sauce or apple compote.
