The Carneros Cuvée is our finest sparkling wine – or tête de cuvée – and represents a combination of the best fruit from our own vineyards, our winemaker’s extensive blending experience, and our commitment to extended aging on the yeast. The 2001 Carneros Cuvée is a blend of Pinot Noir (55%) and Chardonnay (45%) that offers wonderfully integrated complexities of bouquet and flavors, elegant structure, exceptionally round, rich textures and exquisitely fine, persistent mousse. With more than eight years en tirage, this wine spends more time on the yeast than any other we have ever produced.
